THE PROBLEM
Over half of burglaries begin at the door or padlock, where outdated lock technology can be silently defeated in seconds.
With no visible forced entry, insurance claims are frequently denied. For insurers, the cost of a single loss has increased by more than 50%, leading to substantial increases in insurance premiums. As a result, the insurable physical security global market as a whole is now worth $130-$150B and growing rapidly.
THE SOLUTION
The only mechanical locks that truly render manipulation ineffective
Proprietary, protected Zone-Engineered Defense (ZED™ core) technology
Designed to stand up to insurance scrutiny and create defensible loss events
RIVAL'S
DIFFERENTIATORS
✓

WHAT THE
EXPERTS SAY
Rival's lock core design represents a significant advancement in lock security. Instead of merely mitigating many of the known vulnerabilities, this design eliminates them entirely.

The Rival technology is really intriguing. We would definitely be interested in using them for external and internal doors in each dealership (as a replacement for Medeco, which I thought was unpickable), as well as some padlocks throughout the building.
We are seeing a huge increase in criminals breaking into our dealerships and stealing cars off our lots. In the last 12 months alone, we have had over 56 cars stolen (compared to 3 cars stolen just 5 years ago).
Despite investing $300,000 in a security system of cameras and alarms, these thefts and break-ins are still happening. And criminals, although apprehended by law enforcement with camera footage showing proof of forced entry, are not being prosecuted. They keep coming back.

Loss prevention is a huge deal right now! In my 44 years doing this, I have never seen it like it is the last 2 years – claims are up, premiums are rising sharply, and carriers are trying hard to reduce the frequency of claims. Everyone is interested in how to mitigate these problems.
